The terms used in the node name formats are described as follows:

<Name> Represents the name you assign for the node.
<Entity> Represents the alphabetic code (that is, a base 24 number using 24 letters from "A" to "Z", but leaving out "I" and "O") for the name of the entity containing the node.
<Instance> Represents a numeric indicator of which hierarchical instance of the <Entity> contains the node.
<Type> Represents the type of logic synthesized where L stands for logic cell, P stands for product-term macrocell, and M stands for memory (RAM, ROM, or content-addressable memory (CAM)).
<Index> Represents a numeric index of the node in the particular hierarchy level.
Q Represents sequential logic (that is, DFF or LATCH).
