To copy a lower-level entity to the top level and specify it as the compilation focus:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If necessary, open the Project Navigator.

3. Click the Hierarchies tab.  More Details

4. If necessary, click the + icon to expand the hierarchy level that contains the lower-level entity.

5. Right-click the entity you want to copy as a top-level entity and set as the compilation focus, and choose Add Current Entity at Top Level (right button pop-up menu).
