Alternative Procedure for Adding & Removing Files in a Project



To add files to a project:

  1. Open an existing project.

  2. If necessary, open the Project Navigator.

  3. Click the Files tab.

  4. Right-click the Files folder, and choose Add/Remove Files in Project (right button pop-up menu).

  5. In the File name box, type the file name, or click Browse (...) or Add to search for and select the file you want to add to the project.  More Details

  6. To rearrange the order of the files, select a file name, and click Up or Down.

  7. If necessary, repeat steps 6-7 above to add more files to the project.

  8. Click OK.

To remove files from a project:

  1. Open an existing project.

  2. If necessary, open the Project Navigator.

  3. Click the Files tab.

  4. Right-click the Files folder, and choose Add/Remove Files in Project (right button pop-up menu).

  5. From the File name list, select the file you want to remove from the project, and click Remove.

  6. Repeat step 6 for every file you want to remove from the project.

  7. Click OK.
