To view messages from the current compilation, simulation, or software build:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Compile or simulate a design, or start a software build.

3. If necessary, open the Messages window.

4. Click the Processing tab to view messages generated by the Compiler, Simulator, or Software Builder.

To view messages from a previous compilation or simulation:

1. If necessary, open an existing project.

2. Open the Report window for the compilation focus or simulation focus that contains the messages you want to view.

3. Double-click the Messages section name.  More Details

To view messages from tasks unrelated to the compilation, simulation, or software build.

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If necessary, open the Messages window.

3. If necessary, click the System tab.
