Specifying a Default Location for Saving or Opening Files

To specify an initial directory to be displayed in the Open and Save As dialog boxes:  Read This First

  1. Choose Options (Tools menu).

  2. If necessary, in the Category list, select General.

  3. Type the directory path name in the Default file location box or select the directory path name with Browse (...).

  4. Click OK.
