This command is available only when you turn on Show recently used files and projects on submenus in the General Options tab (Options command).

Lists the projects you most recently opened in the Quartus^® II software. The File menu lists up to five previously opened projects, with the most recently opened project listed first.

In their default state, the project names include the extensions of supported file types. If the file extensions are hidden in the Quartus II software, however, you can display the file extensions using the Windows Explorer software. Turn off Hide file extensions for known file types, which is located in the View tab (Options command) in the Windows Explorer software. When you restart the Quartus II software, the file extensions are displayed in the lists.
