Specifying Mapper Properties



To specify mapper properties in the Block Editor:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf).

  2. If necessary, create blocks and their connectors.

  3. Select the mapper.

  4. Choose Properties (Edit menu).  Shortcut

  5. In the Mapper Properties dialog box, click the General tab.

  6. To specify the type of the selected mapper, select the type in the Type list.

  7. Click the Mappings tab.

  8. To add or change an I/O for a conduit, under Conduit mapping, select the I/O in the I/O on block list and the signal in the Signals in conduit list.

  9. To add or change an I/O for a bus, under Bus mapping, select the I/O in the I/O on block list and the signal in the Signals in bus list.

  10. Click Add to add a new I/O, click Change to assign new signals for an existing I/O, or click Delete to delete an I/O.  More Details
