A region that designates an item in the Excalibur™ embedded processor stripe in the floorplan and can be easily identified in the Interior MegaLABs, Interior LABs, and Interior Cells views (View menu).
The Excalibur regions include the following items: UPCORE, DPRAM, XCLK, XOUT, and XIN.
Dragging a node from the Floorplan Editor, Node Finder, or other region in the Regions window to a selected Excalibur region allows it to be reassigned anywhere in the selected Excalibur region during the next compilation.
