To create a new group of software build settings or make a copy of existing software build settings:

You can also create new software build settings with the Software Build Settings wizard.

1. Create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Settings (Assignments menu). Shortcut

3. In the Category list, select General under Software Build Settings.

4. If you want to make a copy of an existing set of software build settings, specify the existing settings as the current software build settings.

5. Click Save as.

6. In the Save Software Build Settings As dialog box, type a name in the Settings name box for the group of software build settings you want to create.

7. To save the new software build settings name and close the Save Software Build Settings As dialog box, click OK.  More Details

8. Click OK.

9. If necessary, make changes to the new group of software build settings.
