Creating a Mnemonic Table

To create a mnemonic table:

  1. If necessary, open a SignalTap® II File (.stp), or create a new STP File.

  2. If necessary, create a bus in the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer.

  3. Choose Mnemonic Table Setup (Edit menu). Shortcut

  4. Click Add Table.

  5. In the Name box, type the name of the mnemonic table.

  6. In the Width box, type the bit width of the mnemonic table.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Click OK.


To delete a mnemonic table:

  1. If necessary, open a SignalTap II File (.stp), or create a new STP File.

  2. If necessary, create a bus in the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer.

  3. Choose Mnemonic Table Setup (Edit menu). Shortcut

  4. Select a mnemonic table in the Table list.

  5. Click Delete Table.
