To assign a specific entity or node to pins organized by internal rows/columns:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

3. Click the By Node tab.

4. Under Mode, select Enter specific entity & node settings for.

5. If necessary, copy a node name to the Name box with the Node Finder dialog box.

6. If necessary, turn on Show assignments inherited from higher hierarchical levels & project defaults.

7. Under Assignment categories, click the + icon next to Locations.

8. Click Pin (Organized by Internal Rows/Columns).

9. Under Assignment, type or select an area in Area.

10. Under Assignment, type or select a MegaLAB^™ column number in MegaLAB column number or a MegaLAB row name in MegaLAB row name.

11. Under Assignment, type or select a pin number in Pin number.

12. Click Add.

13. Click OK or Apply.
