To assign an entity or node to a column in an ACEX^® 1K or FLEX 10KE device:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

3. Click the By Node tab.

4. Under Mode, select Enter specific entity & node settings for.

5. If necessary, copy an entity or node name to the Name box with the Node Finder dialog box.

6. If necessary, turn on Show assignments inherited from higher hierarchical levels & project defaults.

7. Under Assignment categories, click the + icon next to Locations.

8. Click Column (pins and cells).

9. Under Assignment, select a column in the Column number list.

10. Click Add.

11. Click OK or Apply.
