To archive a project:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If you want, run analysis and elaboration or compilation.  More Details

3. Choose Archive Project (Project menu).

4. Type a name for the Quartus^® II Archive File (.qar) in Archive file name, or select a name with Browse (...).

5. To include the outputs of compilation and simulation, turn on Include outputs of compilation and simulation.

6. To include functions from system libraries, turn on Include functions from system libraries.

7. To include files for HardCopy^™ conversion, turn on Include files for HardCopy conversion.

8. Click Add/Remove Files to edit the contents of the QAR File.

9. Click OK.
