The Simulator Settings File (.ssf) is an ASCII file that stores simulation processing information for a Quartus^® II project, such as the Simulation focus, the type of simulation, the time period covered by the simulation, the source of the vector stimuli, breakpoints, and other assignments.

An SSF can contain some or all of the sections listed below. The Breakpoint section can be repeated.
