It's not off the shelf, but a 32-bit RISC + on-chip bus + peripherals (just
add ram and config rom) fits nicely in a single Xilinx SpartanXL FPGA, for
which Xilinx has announced a 12x12 mm 144-pin chip scale BGA package (0.8 mm
lead spacing): www.xilinx.com/prs_rls/corppkg.htm.
