Platune 1.6 (Platform Tuner)
Overview
Platune is a WinNT/00 simulation/exploration environment for a
parameterized SOC architecture. This architecture is composed of
a MIPS processor, instruction and data caches, CPU to instruction
and CPU to data cache buses, memory, and instruction/data cache to
memory bus. The environment comes with a C compiler that maps
applications written in c to the architecture. The tool allows for
exploration of a user defined parameter space.

- Select menu Command >> Load,
- Select a c file, e.g., "../platune/examples/sixdim.c",
- Select menu Command >> Set Parameter, and select the desired
parameters,
- Click: A) Simulate to exhaustively simulate all the selected
points, or, B) Explore to search for Pareto-optimal points.
