Logical Memories Section (Simulation Report)



Displays a read-only view of the contents of the logical memory structures in the device.

After simulation, you can open the Logical Memories section to view the contents of memory structures in the device. When you open the Logical Memories section, the Report window menus contain all the Memory Editor commands. Because the Logical Memories section in the Report window is read-only, any Memory Editor commands which edit Memory Initialization Files (.mif) are dimmed to indicate they are unavailable and any changes in the address or memory radix are not saved.

The Logical Memories folder displays each memory block (RAM, ROM, or content-addressable memory (CAM)) discovered during compilation.
