trigger level


The trigger level describes a pattern of logic event in terms of logic levels and/or edges. It is a comparison register used by the SignalTap® II Logic Analyzer to recognize the moment when the input signals match the data specified in the trigger level.

The trigger level is composed of a logic condition for each input signal. By default, all signal conditions for the trigger level are set to "Don't Care," masking them from trigger recognition. You can select one of the following logic conditions for each input signal in the trigger level:

The SignalTap II Logic Analyzer is triggered when it detects the trigger level on the input signals.
