Slave Binary Image File (.sbi)

A binary file (with the extension .sbi) that contains configuration data for the programmable logic device (PLD) portion of an ARM®-based Excalibur device. You or the Software Builder can use the makeprogfile utility with the SBI File to generate the boot data file necessary for generating a flash programming file.

You can generate an SBI File, with the name <current Compiler settings>.sbi, by specifying an ARM-based Excalibur device for the current Compiler settings in the Device page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu), and then compiling the design.

You can use the sbi_config utility to edit an SBI File, for example, add a peripheral to an SBI File.
