A feature available in selected APEX^™ 20KC, APEX 20KE, APEX^™ II, and ARM^®-based Excalibur^™ devices that employ a phase-locked loop (PLL). The LVDS (Low-Voltage Differential Signaling) receiver PLL and the LVDS transmitter PLL are special-purpose high-speed PLLs designed for use by the LVDS (SERDES receiver and SERDES transmitter) circuitry.

You can take advantage of the LVDS receiver PLL with the altlvds_rx megafunction; you can take advantage of the LVDS transmitter PLL with the altlvds_tx megafunction.
