FastTrack interconnect

A series of row and column interconnect channels that span the entire height and width of an ACEX® 1K, APEX 20K, APEX II, ARM®-based Excalibur, FLEX® 6000, FLEX 10KE, and Mercury device families. In APEX 20K, APEX II, and ARM-based Excalibur devices, the row interconnect routes signals throughout a row of MegaLAB structures; the column interconnect routes signals throughout a column of MegaLAB structures. In Mercury devices, the row interconnect routes signals throughout a row of LABs; the column interconnect routes signals throughout a column of LABs.

When using the row and column interconnect, a logic element, an I/O element (IOE, and also known as an I/O cell), Embedded Array Block (EAB), or Embedded System Block (ESB) can drive any other logic element, IOE, EAB, or ESB in a device.
