The Compiler module that computes delays for the given design and device and annotates them on the netlist for subsequent use by the Simulator or the Timing Analyzer.

The Messages window and the Messages section of the Report window or Report File displays any messages the Delay Annotator generates. The Status window and the Processing Time section of the Report window or Report Files record the time spent processing in the Delay Annotator as part of the Timing Analysis module during project compilation.
