Master Port High-Level Command File (.dat)

An ASCII text file (with the extension .dat) for use in simulating embedded processor cores in an ARM®-based Excalibur device, which is used as input to the exc_bus_translate utility when creating a uPCore Transaction Model Input File (.mbus_in). This file describes the read, write, wrapping, and incremental burst operations, as well as busy and idle transactions and periods of idleness that are initiated by the embedded processor core and directed to the PLD over the Stripe-to-PLD Bridge via the Stripe Master-Port.

You must create the Master Port High-Level Command File and then use the exc_bus_translate utility to generate an uPCore Transaction Model Input File (.mbus_in). The Simulator can then use the uPCore Transaction Model Input File data to simulate the behavior of an embedded processor core in a device.
