Assigns user-defined clock characteristics to a signal. To designate a particular signal as a clock, you must define a named group of "clock settings" and assign it to the signal with this option. You can create clock settings with the Settings command (Assignments menu). You can assign the Clock Settings assignment only as a single-point assignment.
