Auto Open-Drain Pins logic option

A logic option that directs the Compiler to automatically implement appropriate logic in open-drain pins. The Auto Open-Drain Pins option drives either a strong low signal or disconnects from the bus, depending on the input signal.

This option is ignored if it is assigned to anything other than a design entity. This option can be used in conjunction with the Weak Pull-Up Resistor option to pull the bus to VCC. This option is available for All Altera^® devices supported by the Quartus^® II software except APEX^™ 20K and FLEX^® 6000 devices.
