A logic device programming box. The APU works with zero-insertion-force sockets and individual adapters to program and test Altera^® devices.

The PL-APU base unit and PLM-prefix adapters support both device programming and device testing for configuration devices, MAX^® 3000 devices, and MAX 7000 devices.

The APU is supported for Windows 98 and Windows 2000 only and is connected using a USB port.
