When you flip a selection, the selected individual object is flipped along their horizontal or vertical axis. When you select multiple objects, the entire area is not flipped.

You cannot flip blocks or text.

All text fields inside a symbol are moved to reflect its new orientation.

Flipping a symbol disrupts its connectivity to the surrounding logic, even if you turn on Use rubberbanding in the Block/Symbol Editor General Options tab (Options command). However, this problem does not occur when the port position of the symbol remains the same after the symbol is flipped.
