To change general Floorplan Editor options:

1. Choose Options (Tools menu).

2. In the Category list, select Floorplan Editor > General.

3. To specify that node assignments should be swapped upon dragging, turn on Swap the Assignments of Moved Nodes with Destination Nodes.

4. To specify the number of seconds for which names of assigned nodes and pins appear in tooltips, type or select the seconds from the Show names in tooltip for n seconds list.

5. To specify the number of seconds you must hold the pointer over assigned cells and pins before a tooltip appears displaying the names of the assigned nodes and pins, type or select the seconds from the Delay showing tooltip for n seconds list.

6. Click OK.
