The Floorplan Editor shows the fan-in paths as lines feeding into either the left or the right side of the selected items, and the fan-out paths as lines feeding out from the center of the selected items. If you select a single item that fans out or into itself, a horizontal line is displayed from the center of the item to one side of it. You can change the color of the lines by changing colors in the Floorplan Editor.
The fan-in and/or fan-out lines are updated automatically when you move a logic cell, embedded cell, I/O cell, or pin.
