To create an alias for a node or bus in a SignalTap^® II File (.stp):

1. If necessary, open a STP File, or create a new STP File.

2. If necessary, assign signals to the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer.

3. Click the cell in the Alias column that corresponds to the node or bus that you want to name.

4. Type the name of the alias, and press the Enter key. Shortcut

To delete an alias for a node or bus in a STP File:

1. If necessary, open a STP File, or create a new STP File.

2. If necessary, assign signals to the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer.

3. Right click the alias that you want to delete, and choose Delete Alias (right button pop-up menu).
