Assigning an Entity or Node to an M-RAM

To assign a node or an entity to a M-RAM:

  1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

  2. Choose Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

  3. Click the By Node tab.

  4. Under Mode, select Enter specific entity & node settings for.

  5. If necessary, copy an entity or node name to the Name box with the Node Finder dialog box.

  6. If necessary, turn on Show assignments inherited from higher hierarchical levels & project defaults.

  7. Under Assignment categories, click the + icon next to Locations.

  8. Click M-RAM.

  9. Under Assignment, select an X coordinate in X coordinate.

  10. Under Assignment, select a Y coordinate in Y coordinate.

  11. Click Add.

  12. Click OK or Apply.
