To assign a node or an entity to an Embedded System Block (ESB):

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

3. Click the By Node tab.

4. Under Mode, select Enter specific entity & node settings for.

5. If necessary, copy an entity or node name to the Name box with the Node Finder dialog box.

6. If necessary, turn on Show assignments inherited from higher hierarchical levels & project defaults.

7. Under Assignment categories, click the + icon next to Locations.

8. Click ESB.

9. Under Assignment, type or select a MegaLAB^™ row name in MegaLAB row name.

10. Under Assignment, type or select a MegaLAB column name in MegaLAB column number.

11. Under Assignment, type or select an ESB name in ESB name.

12. Click Add.

13. Click OK or Apply.
