More Details About Assigning Local Routing

Local routing assignments are more restrictive than clique assignments because local routing assignments require a destination node to be located in the same Logic Array Block (LAB) as the source node or in a LAB adjacent to the source node. In contrast, clique assignments allow the Compiler to place cliqued logic functions farther apart if necessary to achieve a fit.
