Programming is
supported by a number of hardware solutions from Actel. The volume solution
is the Actel Silicon explorer which can support socket module programming and
ISP.

The Silicon
Explorer II is Actel¡¯s low cost programming solution for ProASIC. It will
support NT, win95 and Unix platforms. It should retail for under $499.

ProASIC can be
programmed in the field by a microprocessor using external charge pumps and
level shifters. The ProASIC device requires 16.5 and -12 volts for
programming support.
